Many of Neale’s oils are painted from life in his studio with meticulous attention to line and detail.  He captures skin tones magnificently and one can almost feel the texture of the fabrics within the painting. Neale’s realistic depiction also gives a glimpse of the mood of his model which adds to the attraction of his artwork. His many awards include The Minto Prize, the Oakham Gallery Prize and the Manya Igel Prize on four occasions, all at the New English Art Club annual. He has been commissioned to paint the past seven presidents of the CBI and HRH The Prince of Wales for the Army Air Corps.
